My interests other than piping are no less diverse.

I collect (or shall I say hoard) vintage clothing and collectibles from the early half of the last century and have done so for several years.

My preocupation with old stuff doesn't stop with clothing and furniture. I am a ravenous music collector, prefering pre-1960s Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Rock and Roll, Country and random oddities. I collect 78rpm records and spend many nights out listening to bands that play the old styles.

As passionate as I am about bagpipes, I am equally as dedicated to health through the use of natural foods and nutrition. Through my own struggles with illness (and watching the health of those close to me) I have come to appreciate the simplicity and power of what we feed ourselves.

My other musical obsession is Irish traditional music and the Irish tin whistle. An amazingly frustrating little instrument.

Aside from those things already mentioned, I like to spend time with my dog Sadie and rent a movie now and then.
